With the end of the school year, many school district programs aimed at students and homeless youth are discontinued until the beginning of the new academic year in fall. This can result in a gap in services for students experiencing homelessness, and often leaves some people without the resources they depend on through the school. The community of Juneau does provide many programs throughout the summer however, and the JCHH is involved in making sure these students are matched with the services they need while school is not in session. Below is a resource guide for summer programs for youth and adults providing food, education, activities and support for those in need.
